A Letter from Ashe

After leaving a 3-year position as a manager in the music industry and following my curiosity surrounding pleasure and exhibitionism, I found a career managing myself as an artist of sorts in the adult entertainment industry. 

I was blessed with an abundance of work, purpose, and enjoyment, but I also faced issues surrounding isolation, burnout, romantic hardship, societal stigma, limiting beliefs, identity, feast-or-famine money patterns, and more. As I faced these issues directly related to my industry, I found it difficult to access resources catering to our unique population and the challenges that come with it. 

Therapy wasn’t hitting the right notes for me. I didn’t feel like a victim of my job; I felt empowered by it, but I needed compassionate understanding around managing the highs and lows. Celebrating the highs felt as important as working through the lows, and staying organized through it all was paramount. 

With a background in yoga and meditation, I began developing tactics and strategies to get myself through those moments of uncertainty. I started working on self-care, setting boundaries, and being mindful of my energy and emotional bandwidth. Eventually, these practices turned into rituals of abundance, balance, and protection.

I felt an intuitive hit that I needed to support other sex workers in their journeys as well. I have always been passionate about engineering a plan to achieve dreams - it was the foundation of my first career in the music industry. While I was pondering how I could legitimize my routines and rituals and offer support to my community, I found the Dharma Coaching Institute (now, the “Highest Self Institute”) lead by spiritual thought leader Sahara Rose. I knew immediately that this was the correct next step for me and embarked on a 6-month course surrounding Dharma Coaching, or guiding people back to their Highest Selves. 

Since then, I have helped dozens of sex workers set and achieve their career and spiritual goals through one-on-one coaching (see testimonials here), while simultaneously remaining a creator in this industry. My next goal is to share meditations and make some of my teachings more accessible through online media.
